Marketplace Discipleship Conference
July 7-9, 2025
Plan now to attend the Marketplace Disciple Maker Conference from Monday evening, July 7th to Wednesday morning, July 9th, 2025. This transformative event will feature speakers Dr. Steve DeNeff and Dr. Jeff Clark, author of Praying on Offense: A Simple Guide to Transformational Prayer (gifted to each delegate at our 2024 District Conference). Alongside Steve and Jeff, two influential marketplace lay leaders – Ryan Ott and Trent Dailey – will guide pastors and lay leaders through a practical process, equipping us for effective disciple-making within our local contexts.
This is a free event hosted by the Atlantic District of the Wesleyan Church. Registration is required for the Tuesday afternoon and the Meet n’ Mingle Networking Sessions on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

Conference Speakers

Dr. Steve DeNeff
Senior Pastor of College Wesleyan Church
Dr. Steve DeNeff currently serves as Senior Pastor of College Wesleyan Church in Marion, IN. On the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University, the church is an inter-generational congregation in an academic setting that exists within a city that is economically and educationally strained. College Church partners with community leaders to reverse the spiritual, economic and educational gears that contribute to poverty. In addition to being a frequent contributor to Wesleyan periodicals, Steve travels extensively as a speaker to conferences, camps and retreats, and is active in the training and development of new ministers. His books include WAY OF HOLINESS, MORE THAN FORGIVENESS, SEVEN SAVING GRACES, and SOULSHIFT: The Measure of a Life Transformed, and most recently, FAULT LINES. Pastor Steve earned his B.A. and M.A. from Indiana Wesleyan University where he also received an honorary doctorate in 2003. For over 30 years, he has been the lucky husband of Lori and is the father of two adult children.

Dr. Jeff Clark
Associate Head Basketball Coach - IWU
Dr. Jeff Clark has been a college basketball coach at Indiana Wesleyan University since 2006, where he serves as the Associate Head Basketball Coach and Offensive Coordinator. He is the youngest person in college basketball history to have coached in 500 victories, and his teams have had the nation’s #1 ranked offense over the past 10 years.
Clark has been on the ground floor of two leadership movements: Greater, a movement to redefine greatness in college athletics; and GodWorx, a multinational, multiingual movement to spark people to integrate their faith and influence for Christ at work. He completed his doctoral work and a thesis titled: “Third Level Leadership: When a Leader Prays on Offense” in February 2022, studying the impact of prayer in marketplace positions.
Clark lives in Marion, Indiana with his with Tiffany and five children.

Trent Dailey
CEO - Insurance Management Group
Trent Dailey is the owner and CEO of GCA Title in Marion and Fort Wayne and Insurance Management Group (IMG) in Marion, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Elwood.
A Purdue University graduate, Trent holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems with a minor in Communications. After completing his degree, he returned to his hometown of Marion, where he has invested his time, talent, and resources to drive meaningful change.
Under Trent’s leadership, IMG has cultivated a culture centered on exceptional client experiences, employee well-being, and community engagement. His vision and commitment have led IMG to both state and national recognition. The company has been named one of Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s Best Places to Work in Indiana (2023, 2024, and 2025) and was honored as Agency of the Month by the national publication Rough Notes (May 2022). Later that year, Big I Indiana awarded IMG the prestigious Agency of the Year (November 2022).
A true advocate for progress, Trent Dailey continues to be a driving force for positive transformation, proving that leadership, service, and dedication can create lasting impact.

Ryan Ott
CEO - Tender Loving Care Management
Ryan Ott has been a part of the long-term care community all his life. While in high school, Ryan worked as a construction laborer assisting with remodeling and rehabbing some of the nursing facilities managed by Tender Loving Care (“TLC”) Management, Inc. As a student at Taylor University, he worked as an Executive Director of a skilled nursing facility.
Ryan earned a degree from Taylor University in Business Systems with a focus on mathematics and system design. During this time, he was also a competitive football player and attained All-American recognition.
After graduating and earning his Health Facility Administrator license, Ryan served 10 years as a licensed HFA and Regional Director for TLC Management overseeing the daily operations of multiple assisted living, skilled nursing, and long-term acute care facilities.
In 2021, Ryan accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer & President at TLC Management when his father Gary Ott stepped down. He strongly believes in maintaining the company’s mission and the culture of “people helping people” while simultaneously offering a new perspective so it can thrive in the world today.
When he isn’t working, Ryan spends his time with his wife, Amie, and their four children. He and Amie are active members of their church and community, often volunteering at College Wesleyan Church and other local organizations in Grant County.
